“Your food should be your medicine,” the Greek physician Hippocrates once said, “Let your medicine be your food.” Today, our food is contaminated with toxins of all kinds, and the health effects of natural food without MSG, pesticides and conservatives has virtually been forgotten, and can only be found in special sections in the supermarket. It is a bit surprising that we have been accustomed to finding two classes of food in supermarkets, the HEALTHY and the BAD ones.
But if you only eat “scrap” you must not be surprised if the body then also turns to “scrap”. You also don’t fill frying oil into your car and hope that it drives.
Most people know about the proper diet for their dogs and cats, but when it comes to their own body, most people are far away from a humane diet.
Our diet affects not only the function of our organs, but also those of our brain and therefore our diet also affects our behavior.
Time to rethink.
