Apple Basil Sorbet

About This Project

Cut the apples into appropriately large pieces and remove the core.

Add the 1/2 lime, apple pieces and basil leaves to the juicer (start with the lime).

Mix the extracted juice with some honey, as needed.

Put the mixture in a shallow metal container, cover it and freeze it.

Remove it from the freezer after 3 hours and scrape the ice with a fork before freezing it again for about 1 hour.

Fill the sorbet into a decorative glass and garnish it with some basil.

The absolute refreshment for hot summer days is ready!

TIP: When fruit juice is frozen, the sugar content decreases. For this reason, you should use the honey before freezing.
